Jing is an awesome free application that allows you to easily capture screen shots of your custom website banner and save it as a picture which you can use in your email newsletter template.
Follow this easy workflow:
1) Download Jing: http://www.techsmith.com/jing/free/
2) Initiate a capture by clicking Jing’s “sun” icon
3) Select your header in the cross-hairs
4) Copy your image to the clipboard then save the image as a .png or .jpg.
5) Insert the header into the top of your newsletter like you would any other picture.
Jing is loaded with other great functions like adding annotations and arrows, and the pro version (which is almost free at $15 per year) allows you to capture up to 5 minutes of video including your on-screen workflows!
